The Walther Hammerli Force B1 is a straight-pull rifle chambered in .22 WMR, finished in black matte. It weighs 5.5 pounds and measures 35.5 inches overall. The 16-inch threaded barrel and 9+1 detachable magazine come with one magazine, and the receiver is optic-ready. Factory models come without iron sights or a pre-installed optic, so the sighting setup is left to the buyer.

In Texas this rifle suits small-game and range work. Rimfire ammunition is banned for deer in the state, so the .22 WMR setup is for smaller game and target practice. Because the factory model has no sights, the buyer chooses an optic or a sighting system before the first trip out. Texas dealers sell rifles from age 18, and the rifle is a compact choice for field carry.
