The Kel-Tec P17 is a compact .22 LR semi-automatic pistol built on a polymer frame that weighs 0.7 pounds unloaded. It has a 3.8-inch threaded barrel using a 1/2x28 pattern and an overall length of 6.7 inches. The 10+1 capacity, fiber optic front sight, and adjustable rear sight come standard, and one magazine is included. The black finish completes the compact package, and the threaded barrel accepts compatible muzzle accessories.
For Texas buyers, the P17 is a practical pistol for training and recreational shooting. A valid Texas License to Carry can stand in for the NICS check at many dealers, and dealers require age 21 for handguns. The ambidextrous manual safety and magazine release suit left- and right-handed shooters, and the Picatinny-style rail takes compatible accessories.
